Dosage & Usage
Recommended dosage:
• 30–50 g spice per 1 kg of meat
Basic preparation method
- Cut beef or game meat into strips.
- Add 30–50 g of spice per kg of meat.
- Mix or tumble the meat and spice evenly.
- Leave to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
- Mix again and hang in a drying cabinet or ventilated area.
- Dry until the meat loses 40–60% of its moisture.
This produces a flavourful spicy snack similar to South African chilli bites or chilli biltong.
